One Soul

This day is one I'll always remember,
The day you passed over to heaven above;
But despite your absence on this earthly plane,
I feel you with me every day, my love...
Time keeps moving on and the years roll forward as I celebrate your life on my own,
But the depth of contentment and joy never wanes, because I know that our love is eternal like the original flame...
One day, when my time with our family and this transient life is done,
I'll be blessed to be with you again under a new sun; and together forever we will always be,
One soul joined together again, as God planned it to be...
