One Slow Dance
One slow dance is all I ask,
To pass one night away,
If its to be my first and last,
Then let me choose the day...
I want the softest music playing,
As we both embrace,
So I can hear what you are saying,
As each note's replaced...
I want to smell your best perfume,
Just right behind your ear,
So if by chance I leave too soon,
The scent wont disappear...
Right into your open arms,
As if I never left,
Watching night turn into dawn,
In highlights off your dress...
One slow dance is all I need,
To share what can be real,
If you let your heart concede,
To everything we feel...
