One Over the Eight
Once my valentine, now gone just like my waistline
Remember the hours we spent on line, computer philistines
Those sunny, Sunday afternoons when boating on the Serpentine
Through all your thoughtful deeds, you were my libertine
Freedom from the bloodline that ended in the brine
We dined on food and the fruit of the vine
The oysters, the sparkling stuff, so fine the wine
So resplendent in your vulpine stole, oh clandestine figurine
Once feminine with classy ways now sitting so benign........
