One of Those Kinds of Nights

North wind seemed to breathe heavier tonight I felt a shadow gargoyle sit down on my chest My lungs labored to breathe, I heard two sets of footsteps, Was someone following me? I felt threatened without understanding why I stumbled on a chunk of rock, and wondered if it was a skull It was one of those kinds of nights A flashlight would have made all the difference to me
