One Night
Close to the brook
in the clear night
lit by the full moon
in the pleasantly defiant
wintry chill
Of this Christmas time,
I encountered with
the dreamy beauty
of the night.
From the melting snow
with day’s plus
that presented
a silvery reflection
in the glare
of the gurgling water
in the silence of night,
I received the warmth
of the real happiness
that night
away from
this stressed world .
