One Nation Under God

I picked a daisy and touched the petals brought by God, Alongside of the mountain Where I could see all the views of God's creation I will not be a fool! I will not fall with what is cast upon me I will yell from the mountain top We are One Nation Under God! Heidi Sands 1/30/19

How you feel is understandable. I feel the same way. I think, however, that nonbelievers are predisposed not to see God, and that they might only hear -- maybe -- that 'still small voice' within them... None of what I've written can (or is meant to) detract, however, from the beauty of your poem Heidi! :) gw

I had to smile, Heidi, because I would be yelling the same thing, only instead of nation, I would substitute the word "world". I truly think there is a universal oneness who created all of us, all of our nations. Like the poem so much!
