One Nation
It started in one moment.
It was not expected by all.
There was a clamor, of glamour…
Among those perceived higher than others,
By they themselves.
While all across America…
Not quietly others rejoiced,
For the system was true.
Deplorables!
Fraud, backstabbing, double dealing…
It should not have happened.
How did everything fail?
That was their scream,
that was their chant, their mantra, their song.
A man was elected to office.
A good man, an honest man, a real man.
He was there to serve the people.
Not one person, but …Our Whole Nation Under God!
He was there to honor the flag.
He was there to fulfill promises.
He was there to stand by his word.
“They” beat their drums of war.
“They” pulled at their hair and noshed their teeth.
“They” made up lies and repeat, to gain power by deceit.
One nation under God, Our Father in Heaven…
We hold up our President, to you.
Bless this man, Bless this nation,
In God We Trust
Amen
