One More Day

The things I can’t remember
The things I forgot to say
Will haunt me forever
Tomorrow and today
All my yesterdays
For just one more day

The things I can’t remember
The things I forgot to say
Will haunt me forever
Tomorrow and today
If I could only touch you
In that old familiar way
I’d give all my tomorrows
For just one yesterday

Just give me one more day
Oh Lord I do thee pray
I’ll make it all up to you
When I meet you on the way
The path that I have chosen
Is sure to set me free
Just give me one more tomorrow
So I can live today
