One More Day
It's that light in your eye.
The little smile on your face.
That keeps me alive,
And it reassures me of a good day.
It's those memories of you and me.
That makes any wrongs turn the sky to blue,
Rain showers into a beautiful rainbow,
And lengthen my happiness one more day.
As I get lost in my dreams.
Your image flashes every time I close my eyes.
Hard to imagine what the future holds.
Wishing for a bright day, one with you.
So, I open my arms as I doze off.
Wishing u grab onto them.
And sail with me, eyes focused and hoping,
For your love just one more day.
