Has it really been so long since we’ve been together? How the memory fades with the passing of years… Why is it not so for tears? See how I run at the first sign of inclement weather? I always did fear the storm more than the passing of time. And so I left you behind… I can now clearly see the path laid out before me. And the cost of decisions I have poorly made. Such is the price I have paid… I am scared of the future I see coming toward me. Oh, how the lonely heart burns… I wasted all of our Spring in searching for Summer. I traded all of your love for useless romance.
