One L-o-v-e
Swinging in the summer breeze
We watched the setting sun
A perfect moment that we shared
Where you and I were one
Sitting on my lap
Your head was resting on my chest
I stroked your hair and held you close
Our heartbeats did the rest
Mine spoke to you in rhythm
Each pattern was the same
Its beat, when once you realized
Was drumming out your name
And yours spoke back, it sounded like
My name in your heart too
Then all at once our heartbeats synced
And l-o-v-e was what came through
