One Little White Lie

One little white lie
soon becomes two
before you know it
you've told a few

And if you try to remember
all of them you said
That's when you know
you've been had

I've fallen for you
head to toe
I've fallen for you
and I can't let go
I'll say anything
to keep you near
I'll tell you anything
you want to hear
I know who I am
and it's not what you need
One little white lie
I tell you one little white lie
to embellish me
Two little white lies
and I fulfill your needs
Another and another
till you no longer believe
One little white lie
One little white lie
Can make a guy lonely

One little white lie
