One Light of Hope

One light, one day reflect into the glistening pool As the trickle of sunbeams bloom from the sky Mother Earth gives her smile from her watchful eye And there is a light of hope burning jewel Doth, her eyes begin to befool Landscapes full of turmoil and begin to die Heavens open and lets the floodgates rise Carelessness damaged her with such great accrual Night grows near hope ensues To mend her, time to change our ways Future remains uncertain for where we call home Phoenix rising pure and a new There is time to turn back the clock, yet there is still abhom Mother Earth we shall begin to renew
