One Life To Live

I know we’ve all heard someplace
that we only have one life to live,
that we’ve got to run our own race
and give it all we’ve got to give.

"One life to live," I once thought.
But now I know it’s not true.
For every lottery ticket I’ve bought
I’ve lived in my mind quite a few.
