One Last Rhyme
You are my light within the dark
When all is grey and all is stark
You are the sun within the rain
Your love takes away my pain
I’ve never before felt so alive
Until the day that you arrived
I’ve never had feelings quite like this
In your tender arms and your sweet kiss
Your golden hair and your sea-blue eyes
When you smile, my heart flies
Your beauty is beyond compare
When I see you, I can’t help but stare
Your love is deep and your love is true
How did I find someone like you?
Your love is more than I deserve
I’ll do what it takes for this love to preserve
You pulled me from my deepest depths
Many days alone for which I wept
I was sad and I was blue
Until the day that I met you
Your touch is magic; it heals my wounds
I need you like the sun and moon
In my heart is where you reside
And I never want to leave your side
In your love I want to hide
From all the pain I feel inside
Can you heal me one last time?
For one last moment; one last rhyme
