One In Four

One In Four.
.
I maybe as fragile
As a butterflies wings
But I was never weak
But strong
But pushed too far
By things out of my control
That went on for much too long
.
Although I have to climb a new mountain
Every single day
I still reach for the sun
And won’t let anyone stand in my way
.
Life dealt me some bad cards
My heart ripped and torn
I feel I was cursed
From when I was born
.
Although I am alone
My dwelling is an empty place
As I have no love to call my own
.
The light that once burned so brightly
Maybe now only small and dim
Bu with God as my saviour
I’m not ready to give in
.
This tired world is near the end
And will be replaced with one anew
Where I and so many others will suffer no more
As what god promises always comes true
And who ever you maybe
I send you these words with love and hope
To you.
.
