One I'll Never Forget

Another Friday by myself I'll pull a memory off the shelf And walk with it, it's one with you Where we had coffee, just us two We played that morning then had lunch The Dimmick Inn, wait, was it brunch? It doesn't matter, afterward I drove back slow, it was inferred That time would thus be short and sweet Next to me in the front seat We talked so freely, you and I I didn't want the time to fly But fly it did, next thing I know You told me that you had to go I dropped you off, time to resume You liked the Vera Wang perfume I wasn't sure then if you would But when you did I felt so good
