One I regret

Listen to poem:
Moving away slowly like the smoke from my cigarette Every step closer is one I regret I'm keeping a tally one we both have let go of since we had met I just hold on to this glass of a Negroni, a memory of your over-reacting that I have since tear let; I let myself go of it; with no regret; taking me back to a time of which we both met The edges of paper no longer are torn; waiting for better words, now; they're gone, so dry your eyes, it's better that they're done

Ah, the end...or at least, it seems so in your poem. Your work is very intelligent, and of course, romantic and beautiful. Always enjoy it <3

Very much a declaration of moving on, the pain is processed. Foreward is the only direction worth heading for. Thank you for the wonderful encouraging words! Warmest regards A.S.
