One I regret
Listen to poem:
Moving away slowly like the smoke from my cigarette
Every step closer is one I regret
I'm keeping a tally one we both have let go of since we had met
I just hold on to this glass of a Negroni, a memory of your over-reacting that I have since tear let;
I let myself go of it; with no regret; taking me back to a time of which we both met
The edges of paper no longer are torn; waiting for better words, now; they're gone, so dry your eyes, it's better that they're done
