One Hundred Dreams Old

~swiping paper machetes
                             mansions in trees~
                                                   ~cotton clouds
                                 chasing bees~

         how we believed
      in imaginary swords
                       ~kill the monster,
                                     save the queen!~

                                                       Chinese sparrows speaking english,
                                                                 ~Allies in the sky;
                                         Spies in the cusps of trees~
            Monarchies dubbing us King and Queen!

                                                 two best friends have no limits
                                                with imagination under our belts

                                             we were one hundred dreams older
                                                            than everyone else.
