One For Me and One For You
You only live once
so why not live now
the future's too far away
and the past is too far behind
simply grin and live now.
Nothing is definite
hate is too strong
love not strong enough
life happens
so why not live now
you only live once.
For now we're happy
tomorrow we're washed out by sorrow and sadness
pain and frustration are much too common
so find that shoulder to lean on
you only live once
so why not live now.
Your instinct knows best
second guessing is not an option
opportunities are not meant to be missed
they exist for a reason
so why not live now
life is too short.
