One Flesh One Body
we approached the intersection
i was filled with laughter and joy
the scent of citrus and cypress
seemed to surround us the sun
sat in a distance bathing in
it's own glow the clouds were
very thick rolling across the hot
mist of the day i smiled as the light
turned quickly from red yellow finally
green to go a convoy roared past us
i caught a glimpse of two suspicious
characters the green light dimmed
ticking sounded as the impact ignited
the release of a very powerful blast
only fragments of me were left dangled
about heavens sphere mother appeared
within the glow as my entire life danced
as my mind clung to thought scents
i'd become to know i remembered home
four o'clock flowers dandelions weeping
willow trees a butterfly's cocoon sirens soared
my skull was crushed while i balanced memories
my soul left my body guiding me abruptly
back to my macerated flesh
