One Encounter
I can write about how special you are,
and what you mean to me.
I can write about how beautiful you are,
and how you make me feel.
All it took was one encounter,
you left a deep impression.
The thought of you lifts my spirits,
and combats depression.
Every moment we're apart,
burns me up inside.
A disappointing flirtationship,
i'll let you lead the way,
for if you wont go,
I guess I will stay.
