One Day Trayvon Martin

One day there will be one flag
To represent us all
Some say it wont be so bad
We'll answer the same call ...
One day it wont matter who
You pray to every night
Always hoping that the truth
Will come into the light...
One day we will bleed the same
And drink from the same cup
Sharing someone else's pain
Until we fill it up...
One day we will grab the hand
Of strangers within reach
So that we can understand
What life is trying to teach...
One day we wont have the time
To love the way we should
Once we are the last in line
We'll wish that we have could...
