One Day To Reveal
Reveling in the glow of tomorrow
silhouettes of all the yesterdays
my today in just 24 hours
unbeknownst shall be revealed
the heart of the gallant
the eye of the enchanted
reunited by fate once again
will the knight in his shiny armor reign
will the desires deep within be unchanged
a perfect sunny stay down by the bay
two hearts reminiscing as once their way
a long ago passion soon to reveal
as time passed by,
did the love stand still
one day to reveal
what 40 years couldn't heal
one day to reveal
a bond unmeant to steal
one day to reveal
those stolen words concealed
one day to reveal
what the heart still feels.
