One Day My Love
Love is a powerful thing,
We all want it,
But do we know what it really is?
Do we know what it really means?
Love is something no one completely understands,
Love is unpredictable; you never quite know where you stand.
Love can make you feel weak at times
Love can take over and control your mind,
It can often invade your dreams,
Man, love can make you do some crazy things
I don’t know too much about it, I haven’t really experienced it myself
I’ve seen it a lot in my life,
Sometimes things work out, and sometimes it’s just not right
The right love will brighten your life,
Heal your heart, and make everything alright.
The right love comes from God; he sees what you’re going thru
And he sends an angel into your life to comfort and console you,
Love is something that everyone needs, but keep in mind
You have to be patient, kind and forgiving to succeed.
Love is ugly and beautifully amazing at the same time,
Love is something I hope to one day find.
