One Day I Will Break Free

one day i will break free
and dim all the lights till darkness
i will linger and exist
i will be ever present until i matter
though i am made of soft glass, i am defiant when it comes to breaking free
give me a dose of undivided attention, and i will give you the whole version of myself
the nets and the bottles will wash away in the tides that are often misunderstood
i do not want or need a certain type of steed to carry me
for i know from my hair follicles to the soles of my feet that one day i will break free
