Notes About The Poem

One Day Find

One Day Find

Like sunshine peeking through the clouds,
flowers watered by the rain.
So much more awaits you
once you're finally past the pain.

For now your heart is broken
and the hurt is just so real.
But like springtime after winter
a heart begins to heal.

As precious memories gather
finding home inside your heart.
Though the scars they still remain
a new day will soon start.

Like daylight warms the earth below
and dries the morning dew.
Comfort comes on angels wings
when mourning time is through.

Still for now the skies are dark
there's things you can't control.
With each teardrop that falls
there is healing for your soul.

Clinging to the hope inside
with prayers for peace of mind.
Keep looking to tomorrow
for the joy you'll one day find.

Beautiful lines. I liked the line "comfort comes on angels wings"...there's hope to cling to and joy at the end. Lovely lines. 7
