One Day Closer
One day closer
And some say the end is nigh
But the way I see it
I'm one day closer
To the rest of my life
Thirty creeps closer
But I'm just a young lad
Finally starting
And yeah I'm still figuring it out
But I can't be stopped by doubt
Because I'm one day closer
To the love of my life
One day closer
To my chosen career
One day closer
To the journey of a lifetime
One day closer
To loving the guy in the mirror
You won't see me lose faith
Because my belief is ironclad
I know not what awaits when this life ends
But life is my paradise
And I'll roll the dice to make it
I just promise one thing
I'm one day closer
To saying today is the day
