One Day

One Day

One day I had some problems. I didn't know what
to do. A friend came and told me, I know someone
that can help you. He will take your problems away,
JESUS is His name.

I told her - I know that what you tell me - you do
for my own good, but my life is full of sin and forgive
me - I don't think He would.

My friend told me - come with me, don't be afraid.
When you come to see him - your sins He'll take
away. Now I follow JESUS and I'm inviting you too.
If you have sins and problems - you must go and see 
Him too.

Your sins - He will wash away and your problems He will
fix. Don't take too long to go. don't carry anymore a
burden soul....

Russell Sivey May 2, 2013 at 9:46 PM Oh How I agree with you my friend! This is such a true and factual statement! I just wish everybody knew what we know, and believed as well do Lucilla! We would have a lot of people in heaven in the future, but I'm afraid that there are fewer and fewer that are making it! It hurts me to see those unbelievers and yet I'm still silent at times...we need to go out and help those that are worse off than we are! Just like your poem has said, do for others! What a perfect piece, Great Work!!
