One Day

One day, one day my journey will end.
The constant blur past windows
Countryside, town, city, sea.

One day, one day I will make my last departure.
I will leave my home comfort, my nest
I won’t know it’s the last time though.

One day, one day I will journey no more.
No longer free to
Lie on earth
Swim in water
Warm by fire
Breathe the air

BUT!

One day could be any day
So for now I will journey far,
Breathe, swim,
travel the earth with warmth In my heart.
Make everyday good enough to warrant being my last.
