One Dark Night

In Johnny's car Freedom's found The place he loves to fool around The tires almost bald A floorboard's missing The engine sputters and stalls Leaves him more time for kissing So Johnny makes out with his dates Chugs much too much beer Weaves all the way home Struggles to steer Prays his old woody into a tight garage space Johnny's vision's blurred There's fear on his face When one dark night his car doesn't steer right ~ Garage now collapsed Freedom plays taps

Your warning poem has good interest in it. Last line 'freedom plays taps' - like a tap turned off.? I wanted ' freedom lays traps', - then my brain blocked up!
