One Couple of Days

One couple of days in the midst of the night,
Two silent clocks began to sing bright.
A shadowy rooster flew up and swam,
Chased by a pancake who called him Sam.
Three wise fishes climbed up a tree,
While rubbery shoes had some hot tea.
If you think these wonders are simply untrue,
Ask the moon’s hat—it knows what to do.

How can really silly be from such lovely lines of imagery, how at the same time? (hey, I think I was both one night!) That's what you accomplished in my opinion, totally gorgeous ridiculous lines. Gotta be a winner.

Thank you, my niece and nephews inspired this poem, the way they like to talk about random things is always great and funny, I have a tendency to write some of them down.
