One couple of days
One Couple Of Days, the sun was cold,
With whispered secrets that were quite bold.
Two men long dead then leapt to the fight,
They boxed and wrestled in the dim light.
?The deaf officer stepped down the whole street,
He felt the chaos with his large, numb feet.
The witness, quite blind, saw the strange, huge brawl,
She knew the real truth, and she told them all.
