A short story written about how my Father and Mother met was published in a local contest at an earlier point

One Brief Unforgettable Moment

Thunderstruck, stunned, dazed, my poem stoic,
third spot  in a stiff monthly contest,
first ever prize, one brief lightning flash,
moment I imbibed in a giddy rush,
dream rapture, shivery spasms of bliss,
clan and tribe transported by my  triumph,
as I reflect on that watershed dawn
