ONE BRIEF, UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT

It was many years ago, that first time,
When, under protest, I entered stage right.
I was shy, not an extrovert back then
And every single seat was occupied.
I only had one line, and I stammered.
But they laughed! And in that fleeting moment,
I knew I’d act until the day I die
