One Among Billions
What am I...?
A grain of sand washed along the coast
A fading star among an infinite host
A bitty spider amongst the redwood trees
A speck of dust carried by the summer breeze
A tiny drop of rain amidst a raging storm
A wee kernel of golden corn
A penny in a wishing fountain
A pebble on a snowy mountain
A single blade of grass in a field of dreams
A pink salmon egg in the mountain streams
A tale out of thousands told
A single petal from a marigold
A snowflake melting in the bright sun rays
A little spark among a fiery blaze
A simple person among billions
...Yet I am loved
