One

Married at nineteen
Young and in love
Separated by time
Now this marriage of one

Love does exist
For each in another
His love with a man
And hers in a woman

Each asking the question
What exactly went wrong?
For each, all they see
Is a person, just one

Should they stay together?
Each silently ask
When nothing is left
Just a disguise, just a mask

The answer is found
In the heart of these two
Problem resolved
The answer, be true
