Onde quer que haja insucesso
houve titubeio,
houve alguma superstição sobre a sorte,
algum passo omitido,
que a natureza jamais perdoa.
A principal diferença entre as pessoas
parece ser a de que uma é capaz de se sujeitar a obrigações
das quais podemos depender — é obrigável;
e outra não é.
Como não tem a lei dentro de si,
não há nada que segure
uma pessoa
