I have, with love, put much study into Faery Tales. The KEY to a feary tale working is, no matter how outrageous the characters or happenings, the reactions & responses MUST be viable in Fealty as we know it, ie. Loving Kisses bring Response, so CAN awaken a person from stupor sleep caused by a poision apple prepared by a Witch. Even the youngest child knows this. Thus, your poem caused me repeated readings, touched me near tears…it seems not only a “once a time begins,” but,also in itself, a n’er ending story! Breathless hugs…. sally
