Once Upon a Star
The night is when the mundane loses its credibility
The night is when the mystical arouses
In all of us
In each of our hearts
As well as there, in the night sky!
Yes, the night is when stars dance
And put on their show of seduction
To mesmerize us
To grasp our attention
To have us addicted
To gazing at their pulsating mystery!
The night is when the Gods play in the skies
Illuminating each star they step on
As they run or dance or even swivel in ecstasy
For they feel our admiration
And sense our yearning for their presence
The night is an explosive show
A show much sought out by humans
A show much needed to feel invigorated
To feel like we can face a new day tomorrow!
The night is when my soul feels connected
To the power of the stars
The power which drives me
The power which baffles me
The power with which I am so in love
For,
I do know, yes, it has been whispered to me once,
That I come from them
And of course, that I shall be allowed to return home
On some night, when stars shall let down ladders for me to climb on!
