Once Upon a Grandson

I often think of our youngest grandchild who is now 12. There were times his bad behavior was very hard to tell. Our souls wept over his disruptive ways at his school. Everyone was at a loss, having utilized various tools. I wish that I had recorded some patterns and timelines To help others understand that it takes patience and time. His mom and dad had separated, and he was torn and frustrated. Our grandson was in emotional pain and he was not the blame. Sometimes the causes of the family pain will not swiftly disappear, but we must continue to care and love even as we are filled with fear. The ordeal seemed to have come suddenly like a storm as I recall. Adjustments, changes, and new teachers pitched in one and all, and In time, after several months, there came a calm after the scary storm. It's been at least two years or more, and our little one is back to normal. We all wish that hurtful things would be halted and go away quickly, but It takes God Time to grow a tree and make a rose, and Time, they say, heals all wounds. And this I know, that prayer is the real key that Changes you and changes me. 093019PoSoupContest, 2_12, Beth Evans

Sadly, so many go through this. I hope things are going ok now. Prayer matters. Well done :)
