Once Upon a Fairy Tale Noon

The wind chimes
with the spirits of the wind
The wedding bells ring
Once upon a fairy tale noon

Deeply I slept within these rooms
but... nightly wishes never come true
Maybe that's why I am still so blue

I am awake now to another
gloomy day
and in a way
I knew today would be gray
with nothing to say

Even though I am still baffled
with the shuffle of the day
I know that one day
the joys of life will be heard
through out the world
or maybe it is to soon
to tell if this will be a fairy tale noon

Sprinkles of glitter floating in the air
and our skin would be bare
without a care
without saying a word
I would know what to do
fly and singing
along with you
Once upon a fairy tale noon

I enjoyed this dark piece with a more hopeful resonance. For me the best poem so far.
