Once Upon a Car Ride

Feel like that woman
Screaming, he betrays
They're stealing her
They're taking her
And everything shes kept safe
He Can't protect her
Not strong enough
Not brave enough
Nor man enough
To understand her horror
And how she will remember
The rest of her life

wow Juli, this is powerful, deeply emotional, and needed to be written. remember for all the wrong reasons... the fact that she is the victim, is soon forgotten, in this weird world.. this is the first poem i've read of you. and to my fav you go..
