Once ,in Autumn

Once, in Autumn

I was sitting on the ground,
Autumn breezes all around.
An admirer of nature unbound,
I watched sparrows flutter down.

They wandered all around;
Then I heard a sound—
The crisp yellow leaves
Touching the ground.

A precious moment, I found.
In the sky, I saw
The healing of all wounds,
A softness the season crowned.

I remembered a heart
Once drowning in the pond;
I looked deep—now it was crowned.
I felt autumn, once in my life, profound.

The heap of leaves on a grassy mound—
I found no more puzzles that could make me confound.
I felt His love resound;
The majestic nature made me astound.
