Once Beautiful

When I met you
your skin was black
now it white

When I met you
your hair was curly
not it is straight

When I met you
your nose was flat
now it is narrow

When I met you
your lips were thick
now they are thin

What happen
What happen
You were so beautiful
When I first met you

God, please give her back her beauty

Unfortunately, too many people get caught up with with fads and the fashionable and are changing their image to conform to what society defines as "beautiful." In the process they lose themselves, their real beauty, and their true identity! A-7 for this very exceptional piece that is so deep, powerful, insightful and inspirational! BRAVO! Pandita
