Once Around the Lake

Once around the lake sweetheart
I'll take you here and there
All throughout the neighborhood
I'll show you everywhere
Where I have fondest memories
The places where I was
There's nothing like a memory
To do just what it does
And that is why I'll take you
I want for you to see
Then we can make some memories
Together, you and me

The poem has a nice flow with the rhythm and end rhyme. I love the first line especially, and then I like the ending (and the middle is lovely too!).
