Once Again

IT’S ALL NOTHING NEW
THE SMELL OF THE DAMP DYING LEAVES
THE VEIL OF THE THICK DENSE FOG
THE SOUND OF THUNDER

THEN DARKNESS
FOLLOWED BY THE LIGHT
ONCE AGAIN

THE SUN RISING
THE BIRDS SINGING WHILE BABIES CRY
THE SMELL OF FLOWERS
AND FRESHLY POURED CONCRETE

ONLY TO BE PUT INTO DARKNESS
FOLLOWED BY THE LIGHT
ONCE AGAIN
