Once Again

.

. I wake to possibiltiy

I walk the walk of anticipation

only to find the familiar road

                                                      of disappointment

                                                        there are tears

                                                            but hope

I hear you. I am forever forming ideas of the way I think things should be, how society should behave. Needless to say, I'm almost always disappointed, disillusioned. Love, daver

We must never lose that last word of your poem......this could be a motto each of us must remember.....each day's disappointment does not mean there is no hope for a better tomorrow. (We should cross-stitch some of our poems and hang them on the wall!) :)

Another beautiful one Laurie, a wonderful thought to start my day. I know that road too. I thought the same thing Sharon said, hope springs eternal, yes it does... it's what keeps us going. Sometimes it's all that keeps us going... but it is enough. Really great write. :) Love, Amy

Hope springs eternal, not to sound cliche, but it is true. Tears, well we are lucky to be able to cry. A beautiful poem. Love, Shar

Without the tears there are no rainbows, with the lack of fulfillment there is no need to hope. You capture all this in the butterfly catcher of poesy. Love
