Once a Year
Happy Obligation Day!
A day that’s like no other,
‘Cause woe to any son or daughter
Disregarding Mother.
Buy those flowers, sign those cards,
Make a reservation;
Phones are buzzing, gifts unwrapped
All across the nation.
More important – call again
Before your bouquet’s wilty;
If once a year’s enough for you,
You should be feeling guilty!
