Once
I guess I loved you
once
A long time ago
when things seemed so uncomplicated
and real
But it's all blurred
and faded now
like the dreams just before you wake
that slip away
when you open
your eyes
You are a stranger
to me now
lost in a world
I can't be
a part of
My words have no
meaning in that
world-
and neither do I
I guess I'll always
love you-
the you I used to
know-
the only you
there is
for me
now
